Chris, Ronald and Henry Blockburger would like to take this time to introduce ourselves and what are goals are for the Assistance Center.
Chris is a 20Yr Combat Veteran with the US Army, he enlisted in December of 1992 and served in many locations. Chris was injured in Iraq in February of 2008 spent 4 months in Walter Reed and 5 months at Muncie Army Hospitial, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. It has been Chris's goal to be able to give back to the community and veterans that have helped him get thru some tough times. Chris came up with the Idea for a Assistance center in Easton in August of 2009 because he felt that it would be the best way for him to be able to give back and help others. Chris's goals for the Center, are to provide services that most assistance centers make you go thru alot of red tape for help so he decided to create a business plan that would do just that. Thats when he created the Easton Community Assistance and Veterans Thrift Store. Chris wants this store to be differant than any other second hand store and we believe he has made that possible.
